"I attended the 'H.E.R - A.I.M' Art Therapy workshops for Black women in 2019 and thought they were really good!
The group was small number of other women, so I didn't feel nervous to share openly. Ceeka, the Art Therapist who runs the session, was very professional throughout."
"I didn't know what to expect when I attended a workshop for women hosted by Inside My Art Project in December 2019. As a practicing Muslim I felt completely welcomed within the group, & I really enjoyed the discussions with the other group members while we created art.
It was a very memorable experience, and I look forward to future workshops!"
"Doing Art Therapy gives me something to look forward to, because even though I don't always say much in the sessions, being in the room with my Therapist makes me feel seen and safe... Its weird but that's the only way I can describe it! I also like Art Therapy because its something that I can do when I'm at home too. I was given an Art Therapy Journal and I have been using everyday! I like it because it makes me think about my feelings instead of bottling everything up. I don't usually like talking about them, especially to strangers... But the journal has made this easier.."
